Dr David Blazey is Head of Grants at the Maudsley Charity (www.maudsleycharity.org) in London. He is responsible for managing the Charity’s grants programmes, working with potential applicants who wish to develop innovative projects in mental health, and supporting those who are awarded grants through the lifetime of their projects. David joined the Charity in 2011, while still working in a parallel role for South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (www.slam.nhs.uk) as Head of Social Inclusion and Recovery Projects. In this role he worked with teams across the Trust, as well as many NGOs, to develop new projects supporting social inclusion and recovery. One of the biggest projects was the SLaM Recovery College (www.slamrecoverycollege.co.uk), which continues to play an important part in promoting recovery for people in south London. He has worked in the field of mental health and funding since 2007, having previously worked in adult and further education, latterly in management roles that included arts, regeneration and funding. David is a trustee of the Waddington Street Centre in Durham (www.waddingtoncentre.co.uk) and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA www.thersa.org). He is committed to the improvement of mental health services and a better world for the people who use them. He has contributed extensively to conferences and learning events in the UK, Hungary, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Estonia, France and the Czech Republic.

Jodee's expertise is in Social Media Marketing and she's originally from Singapore. Her strength is in leveraging on Content Strategy and Visuals to promote talented people ranging from emerging artists, creative people, social entrepreneurs, authors and multi-talented professionals. She has been working with people with a creative strength and has supported them using Visual Marketing strategy.
Jodee has been working with organizations which are doing interesting, important work ranging from charities and public sector organizations in particular purpose-driven businesses and social enterprises. Her special interest is in organizations that might make a profit but are motivated more by the need to make a positive social or environmental impact. Jodee is also into Language Learning Gamification and development.

Triin Vana (Estonia) acquired an education in nursing from Tartu University (specialized on teaching and health care management, also on psychiatric nursing), studied psycho-social rehabilitation and business management, supervision and coaching.
She is head trainer of CARe Europe and works as certified trainer since 2002, when the first International training, Tepla 1 was held. Triin has more than 20 years leadership experience in developing and managing rehabilitation and community based mental health services in Estonia. She is also certified as EQUASS (European Quality of Social Services) quality system consultant and trainer to support social service providers to evaluate and improve the quality of services. Triin likes to say that she has 3 lovers in her work life - CARe methodology, supervision and social services quality. Last years there have appeared the 4-th one – social services design as a new way of developing user focused services, connected with her master program studies in
Tartu University.

I've obtained my BSc in Computer Engineering from Kocaeli University in Turkey and currently studying MSc Human-Computer Interaction in Tallinn University where I work on brain-computer interfaces. Started to work as an ios developer for five years, I'm a big fan of hackathons and code competitions which I quite often participate and win prizes. If I'm not busy with coding probably, I spend my time flying with my racing drone or doing fun projects with brain-computer interfaces.

I believe good work can be accomplished only with different professions and minds come together as we do in Helpific, people from more than seven different culture get together, and we come up with ideas and products.

Radmila Stojanović Babić is social pedagogue from Zagreb (Croatia). She is a co-founder of NGO Susret pioneering community based social services for people with mental health problems. Her emphasis for the past 12 years is on providing opportunities that empowers people for recovery and citizenship.

Jon Pitts had spent much of his working life in the social care field but over the last 10 years he has been working in social enterprise and social businesses to help people with a learning disability move closer or into work.
​
Whilst still running a traditional day service for local government he set up a social firm ice-cream parlour and tea room. He then co-developed, with Geof Cox, a new model of social enterprise. miEnterprise uses a marketing co-operative & mutual model to support micro businesses run by learning disabled adults. These are all food businesses with people making high quality products at their own pace. This is based in Herefordshire in the west of England.
This model has been taken up by another group - this time young adults with Aspergers who are running micro businesses in web site development and discussions are under way with a group of families to set up a family led group in Scotland.
Jon also works with a local school creating work experience for young people with a learning disability.

He is a trustee/director on two local community owned businesses - a village shop and a community hub in an historic building.
